Solar Farm

Expanding my knowledge last week to include one of our solar farms. The sun was shining when 14 women set out on a 45 minute drive . . . 45 minutes later it was pouring down rain.

We braved the rain and got out our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), unloaded the van and embarked on our tour, until the lightening lit up the sky. Tour over. But we had a good time!

Our Favorite Dog Treats

Very basic recipe: 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 Tbsp Baking Powder 1 Cup Milk 1 Cup Peanut Butter (crunchy makes it harder to cut in shapes) Combine flour and baking powder. Mix together milk and peanut butter, gradually add flour mixture. I use a dough hook on my Kitchen-aide. Roll out dough and cut with your favorite shapes. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

Diaper Tricycle

Every once in a while my inner crafter comes out. This was my first diaper tricycle. Two months later I have completed another only to have an order for another. Now if I could only get about 8 orders a day, this could be a lucrative business. Until then I will continue to go to my day job.

Diaper tricycle number 3. I liked the first one best. I will not use Target diapers anymore, too much blue and green. Pampers are best, they have the least amount of color and design.

And then came along a little pink one . . .
The Bodie Island Lighthouse on a beautiful March day. This house is not open for climbing however with two toddlers we were happy to have the wide open space for them to stretch their legs.

The Graveyard 100

We have been in NC for 7 1/2 years and this is our first trip to the Outer Banks. What brings us here? The Graveyard 100. Two members of our family took on the challenge of running 100 miles. I am so excited for them. My purpose? Photos and Entertaining the children! I have already gotten the camera out to capture sunset as we arrived. Super excited to imagine the great shots I will get, even with 4 children in tow, over the next three days.
